- How much does private English tuition cost?
- Lesson rates start from £50 per hour for one-to-one sessions. Your first introductory lesson is completely free with no obligation. Contact me for current pricing and package options.
- What exam boards do you cover for GCSE and A-Level English?
- I cover all major UK exam boards: AQA, OCR, WJEC and Edexcel. Every lesson is tailored to your specific syllabus, set texts and exam format so you practise exactly what you'll face on the day.
- Do you offer online English tuition?
- Yes — I offer both in-person tuition in Brighton, East Sussex and online lessons via video call to students anywhere in the UK and beyond. Online sessions are just as interactive and effective as face-to-face.
- What qualifications does your English tutor have?
- I hold a Master's Degree in English Literature and a First-Class BA in English Literature & Creative Writing. I have over 8 years of tutoring experience, more than 1,500 hours of one-to-one teaching, and an Enhanced DBS certificate. I was nominated for a global 'Tutor of the Year' award in 2018.
- How do I book a first lesson?

- What results can I expect from English tuition?
- 100% of my students have achieved the grades they needed to progress to A-Level or university. Many students improve by two or even three grade boundaries — for example, one student went from a predicted D to achieving a B at A-Level.
